Album ReDesign

For this project we we assigned to redesign an album cover and make sure it represents the theme of duality. I decided to choose "THE HEIST" by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. In general this album is all about the contrast of getting knock down and getting back up again and wealth vs struggle. I had a lot of sketches and original designs but finally decided to go with a face where one side is metallic gold and the other is in grey scale. This really shows duality from the juxtaposition of Fame and Challenges. I really liked that this project combined InDesign, Illustrator  and Photoshop. Something I struggled with was the size of images and text, and making them flow smoothy together. Overall this assignment was on of my favorite and I liked the aspect that we got to make real mockups. In the future I hope to make more mockups because that will be what future clients want to see.
